Superhealth signs Rs 2,500 cr pact with United Imaging for radiology systems

New Delhi, Oct 22 (PTI) Hospital network Superhealth on Wednesday said it has inked a multi-year agreement worth over Rs 2,500 crore with global imaging innovator United Imaging Healthcare for advanced radiology systems.
Under the pact, United Imaging will supply, install, and undertake lifecycle management of a full suite of advanced radiology systems across 100 upcoming Superhealth hospitals, the company said in a statement.
The advanced radiology systems include AI-ready MRI, 160-slice CT, full-body cardiac CT, digital mammography, digital X-ray systems, it added.
โ€œPartnering with United Imaging on a deal of this scale allows us to compress decades of progress into the next five yearsย” so every Superhealth patient can access world class imaging leading to better outcomes,โ€ Superhealth Founder & CEO Varun Dubey said.
As part of the agreement, United Imaging will establish a dedicated India service hub and parts depot, creating over 1,000 high-skill jobs.

He further said,โ€With our products currently utilised in over 10,400 hospitals and research facilities globally, including a strong and growing presence in India, we are focused on ensuring that superior diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities are accessible to all of Superhealthโ€™s valued customers.โ€ Superhealth said it has a 100-hospital pipeline with 5,000 beds which aims to generate 50,000 healthcare jobs by 2030.
