Chandan Healthcare, one of the leading diagnostic and healthcare services providers in North India, was awarded a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project in Assam.
The project involves the development, operation and maintenance of a modern Radiology Imaging Diagnostic Centre at the Northeast Frontier Railway Central Hospital at Malegaon in Assam.
The contract is valid for 10 years. In the past two months, the company has secured PPP projects across eight district hospitals in Punjab and a railway hospital in Assam. The cumulative value of these projects stands at โน550 crore over a 10-year period, translating to about โน55 crore a year.
The Assam project aims to strengthen diagnostic capabilities in a government hospital setting and improve access to advanced imaging services for both in-patients and out-patients.
The initiative is expected to support timely diagnosis and better treatment outcomes at affordable prices.
Under the PPP arrangement, Chandan Healthcare will establish and operate a diagnostic centre equipped with 800 mA high-frequency X-ray system, Ultrasound and Colour Doppler facilities, 128-slice CT scanner and 3 Tesla MRI machine.
Amar Singh, promoter and Managing Director of Chandan Healthcare, said the project will further strengthen the companyโs growing presence in government-led healthcare initiatives.
The Assam project represents another important B2G engagement and reflects the companyโs strong execution capabilities, he said.
PPP projects provide long-term revenue visibility and operational stability, supported by consistent diagnostic volumes over the contract tenure.
The company has a strong presence across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. It offers comprehensive pathology, radiology and diagnostic services under one roof, operating 40 diagnostic centres and over 360 collection centres.
