I am scoring 580 in neet 2026 . It’s my second drop .I don’t want to take another drop and my parents are against it. Please tell me some other exam I can give now as most registrations are over now.Courses I can join through my neet score other than bhms, bams and bds. What is the future of AIIMS bsc nursing is it worth it?

Ans: At the score mentioned, you can try semi-government/private MBBS through state counselling, depending on category/state. So don’t lose hope yet. Other options are: BSc Nursing, AIIMS/JIPMER Nursing, BVSc, BPT, BOT, BSc Paramedical, Radiology, OT Technology, Dialysis Technology, Cardiac Care, and BPharm in some colleges. AIIMS BSc Nursing is genuinely worth it if you are okay with the nursing profession. It offers strong government job security, opportunities in India and abroad, and decent salaries with growth. But remember, you have taken a 2nd drop for a nursing course. Your main intention was to go for MBBS. Talk with your parents about admission to a semi-private college with an education loan. Many banks offer loans for MBBS at a reasonable rate of interest. Talk with some public charities who help needy students. If there is a will, there is a way. Don’t give up; rather, try to adjust the situation to suit you.
