Free medical services available at Aug. 2 community outreach in Sinajana

The Guam Tano Ta Lions Club, with the Guam Sunshine Lions Club, is hosting its next Community Outreach at the Sinajana Community Center on Sunday, Aug. 2 from noon to 4 p.m.

Free medical services will be offered by various organizations.

Ophthalmology services such as diabetic eye examinations from Island Eye Institute, and dietary services from Guam Memorial Hospital Dietary Department will be available.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services will be providing immunizations if available, and on-site patient enrollment with Medicaid and MIP Programs.

Internal medicine and family practice providers from the SDA Clinic and The Doctors’ Clinic and Todu Guam Foundation will be providing primary care services in addition to doing physical examinations, including sports and school physicals (professional component only) for free.

Guam Radiology Consultants will be providing free gestational age ultrasounds in pregnant patients, breech presentations, and ultrasounds for thyroid, breast and abdominal masses. Todu Guam Foundation will be offering free pap smears.

Marianas Footcare has also been supporting the annual Lions Club Sinajana Community Outreach for many years and therefore will be providing free podiatry services including diabetic foot examinations, toenail clipping and other podiatry services at the Aug. 2 community outreach event.

The Doctors’ Clinic has been providing medical care for the people of Guam since 1985 for 41 years and will be supporting the Lion Club Sinajana Community Outreach through free medical services in internal medicine and family practice.
