The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon.
On the 10 kV cable lines, cable lines No. 6 of the “Vodazabor” substation, as well as lines No. 3 and No. 7 of the “Baraulyany” substation, were temporarily disconnected.
The cause of the outage was mechanical damage to 10 kV subscriber cable lines during earthworks carried out by an organization without coordination with “Minskenergo”.
Consequently, the power supply to several socially significant facilities was partially disrupted, including the National Research and Practical Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology, as well as the Minsk District Hospital, BelTA reports.
Later, the power supply in the Minsk district was restored.
