TakeCare to host health fair on Nov.15, 29 at Micronesia Mall

TakeCare will be hosting two Saturday health fairs at Micronesia Mall—one on Nov. 15 and the other on Nov. 29.

Free and open to the public, the health fairs will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Micronesia Mall center court, entrance to concourse 3, next to Foot Locker.

Participants can take advantage of free health screenings that will include body composition measurements (including body weight, body fat percentage, and body mass index), blood pressure, random blood glucose, and a brief diabetes risk survey, TakeCare said in a media release.

FHP Vision Center will provide free vision screenings.

TakeCare also encourages federal and U.S. Post Office employees and annuitants, Guam Contractors Association members and other TakeCare commercial members to inquire about their health plan offerings, including provider network, wellness programs, and gym fitness partner information.

During the health fair, participants can learn more about:

Ernest Aquino, TakeCare’s wellness team lead, said these health fairs are an opportunity for individuals and families to gain valuable insights into their current health status in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.

“While we don’t provide medical diagnoses, we believe knowledge is essential. We encourage everyone who attends to share their screening results with their healthcare provider,” Aquino said in a statement. “These numbers can spark important conversations and help guide personalized health decisions. Our goal is to support each person’s unique health journey, and that starts with understanding where you are today.”
